Watch: Arsenic Vol. 2 - The VX Edition

This is Volume 2 of our Arsenic series. This video was 100% filmed on Sony's VX1000, VX2000 & VX2100. The skaters featured are Authentic Team Riders Alex Fazekas-Boone, Keoni Lamar and Brandon Barber, as well as the homies Zack Hutt, Nyle Miura and Tom Brittain.

The Arsenic video series is centered around skating in Tacoma's Dune Peninsula park. For almost 100 years, the Asarco Company operated a copper smelter at the site of the now Dune Peninsula Park. Air pollution from the smelter settled on the surface soil of more than 1,000 square miles of the Puget Sound basin, but most heavily at this very skate spot. Arsenic, lead, and other heavy metals are still in the soil as a result of this pollution, and so in honor of the gnarly shit, we call this series Arsenic.
